January 31st, 2012 Welsh Business Minister, Edwina Hart, has announced that Comtek's CEO, Askar Sheibani, has been named as interim chairman of the Government's Deeside Enterprise Zone Board.
Askar who is already one of the Welsh Government’s business entrepreneurship champions, hopes to use more than £100m worth of incentives to attract new businesses to Wales. The Deeside Enterprise Zone, which includes the Airbus facility at Broughton, will specialise in encouraging advanced manufacturing plants to re-locate to the Deeside area.
